Yoga For … Every Body!
6-week Class Series

Hello friends!

We’re excited to share with you a unique opportunity to further support your journey toward mental and emotional wellbeing – Beginner’s and Gentle Hatha Yoga classes!

To support Sheena’s own and her clients’ growth and healing, she completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training in the Kirpalu tradition spring 2023.

This first 6 week series is called “Yoga for…Every Body” with a focus on those folks who struggle to believe their body could actually do yoga or who believe that their body isn’t the ‘right’ shape or size for yoga. This series aims to dispel the myth that yoga is only for certain body types.

I believe in the principle that every body is a yoga body, and my goal is to create a space where you can explore and connect with your body and mind together –  in a positive, non-judgmental way.

– Sheena Howard

Regardless of your shape, size, or physical ability, this class is about embracing where you are right now and learning how you might appreciate your body for its strength, resilience, and potential. You’ll be encouraged to focus on how the postures feel rather than how they look, which helps shift the focus from external appearance to internal experience.

Yoga, much like psychotherapy, encourages a deep connection between mind and body. It enhances physical wellness, improves stress management, and fosters mindfulness, all of which can complement your own therapeutic work.

Yoga can help you to better regulate your emotions, staying calm and grounded even in the face of life’s challenges. For some, yoga can also offer a space for spiritual exploration, providing an additional layer of depth to the self-discovery process. By integrating yoga into your routine, you may find yourself better equipped to navigate through your day-to–day life.
